*Based on average timeframes for a 200sqm single storey home. The building commencement date begins once plans have been approved, land title has been issued, deposit is paid, finance has been approved, colours and joinery selections are signed off. Design phase timeframes can vary depending on changes and revisions requested by you. Multi Unit developments and custom homes are subject to differing timelines.
Pre-construction delays may eventuate outside the builders control where the land developer is delayed with titles, building approval and essential items are not provided to the builder. Pavilion homes invites and welcomes regular contact by email, phone or face-to-face meeting to ensure you are updated.
What can cause delays in starting and finishing?
- Client variations to design and inclusions.
- Land developer delayed by rain or approval process.
- Council registrations of planning exemptions.
- Access to land for survey to finalise plans with actual contours.
- Planning and building approvals.
- Client providing essential information (finance approval, & selections).
